About ArtFare
ArtFare offers space to artists on an ability-to-pay basis. Tami’s Treasure House serves as one of the venues from which the ArtFare artists sell and display their works of art. Other ArtFare buildings include Muse 45 Walls, a gallery of contemporary art, Burger City, which features resident artist paintings and sculptures as well as providing a day job for artists and musicians, and Kelly’s Market, another program from which all proceeds go to ArtFare.
Students work side-by-side with working artists at the sprawling ArtFare complex across from the Ronstadt Transit Center. Headquartered in the Sears Executive Center at 55 N. Sixth Ave., as well as in several other adjacent storefronts which form the Downtown Arts Corridor known as the ArtFare Block that totals some 60,000 square feet of performance and gallery space.
Big band, ballet, theater, culinary arts, film production and photography are among the artistic offerings.
Artfare artists in residence include the renowned AIA Films: Gabi Andres, Old Pueblo Theatre Solutions, Fine Line Industrial Arts: William Hagey, El Ojito Springs Gallery and Theater: Randy Ford, Diverse Dance, Zydeco Folk Musician Maker: JP Thom-Gronogan, Lyric Arts: Mary Ellen Palmeri, abstract artists Felicitas and Francheskaa, Capoeira Malendragem, artist Stefan Bucher (AIGA), Pulitzer Prize nominee Ken Tesoreri (Coyote Players) and numerous other lesser known fine artists, sculptors, dance troops and bands.
